What are some jobs for programmers in games?

I don't know if this is the place to ask but I want to get into game making (I'm in 8th grade and plan to take any HS classes I can plan that help with this) so I have been taking some basic online programming courses to get a basic understanding. But what are some jobs for programmers, so that I can know what I want to focus on when I decide. I know there are jobs for people like artists, and musicians, but I can't seem to find anything specific when I look. If anyone could help, that would be amazing. 😀
